Do you charge for estimates?+
No. Written estimates for every service and commercial plans are always free, we visit, measure, talk through colors and finishes, and email you a clear, itemized quote with no obligation.
How soon can you start?+
Most estimates go out within a day, and typical projects are scheduled within one to two weeks. For urgent renews, before a move, a sale or an event, just tell us the date and we'll do our best to fit you in.
What does “upfront flat pricing” mean?+
Before any work begins, we give you one clear, flat price to approve, prep, materials and labor included. No hourly meter, no surprise add-ons at the end. You always decide before we start.
What should I do before you arrive?+
Point out sprinkler lines and anything fragile near the wall, then put the kettle on. Protection, layout and haul-away are our homework.
Why do you keep talking about mortar match?+
Because it decides whether a repair lasts. New mortar harder than old brick makes the brick sacrifice itself, faces pop off within winters. We test and blend to match.
Is my cracked brick dangerous?+
A hairline over a window usually means a tired lintel, cheap now, expensive ignored. Stair-step cracks want a foundation look first. We tell you which one you have, free.
Do you handle permits?+
Yes, retaining walls over the threshold and structural work in the Treasure Valley want them. We know the numbers, pull the paper and meet the inspector.
Can you price over the phone?+
A realistic range from photos, gladly. The flat number needs the free walkthrough, mortar condition and what is behind the wall decide too much.
How long does repointing take?+
Most houses run three to six days a face, weather honest. The written schedule lands before the first joint is ground.
What happens during the free walkthrough?+
We probe joints, read the cracks, check crowns and flashing if a chimney is involved, twenty minutes, flat quote after.
Why is the chimney crown such a big deal?+
It is the umbrella. A cracked crown drinks rain into the stack and freeze-thaw does the rest, most chimney rebuilds started as a crown crack nobody saw.
Dry-stack or mortared for my wall?+

Will the repair be visible?+
Our standard is that you cannot find it in two years. Test panel first on repoints, matched brick sourced for patches, you approve before we commit the wall.

Do you haul debris away?+
Same day it comes off the wall, magnet-swept, and salvageable brick set aside, old brick is often worth keeping for the next patch.
Is the work guaranteed?+
Yes, in writing, workmanship warrantied. A joint that fails or a stone that moves brings us back first and free.
Is the Care Plan worth it?+
For most homes, yes: an annual inspection, free scuff and touch-up visits, priority scheduling, and 15% off future projects typically pay for the membership the first time you use it, and keep every finish looking new.
